That is exactly the case with Vol. III of our New Traditionalists podcast series. We had the pleasure of speaking to Texan, and COVID19 survivor Jake Blocker.
When you listen to Jake's music it is hard to believe the creative output is coming from a high schooler. But at only 16, he's been through a thing or two. He's a self-taught pedal steel guitar player, performed onstage with Moe Bandy, singing "Lovesick Blues," and currently is nominated for Pure Country Male 2020 and Young Artist 2020 by The Academy of Western Artists! He is also a real life cowboy who lives on his family's ranch where he tends to a couple of longhorns. Our interview with Jake is now live!
