After an incredible show at the Ole Miss Vaught Hemingway Stadium this past Saturday, Morgan Wallen's last minute cancellation on Sunday left fans confused, and enraged. The eager concert attendees were first entertained by some of country music's current rising stars Hardy, Ernest, and Nate Smith.
After the opening performances the attendees waited to see Morgan Wallen the headliner for the One Night At A Time Tour, which by the way, is Morgan's first full stadium tour as a headliner. What the fans saw instead was a video message across multiple screens informing the concert-goers that Morgan had lost his voice, and would not be performing. The message also directed fans on how to get a refund for the show. Morgan also posted a video message on Instagram Stories concerning the cancellation.
The country music star kicked off his first headlining stadium tour last year to great reviews. His previous tour Dangerous was nearly sold out. Morgan Wallen also became the third artist in history to sell out Nashville's Bridgestone Arena three times in one year which have drawn comparisons to Garth Brooks.
And like Garth unfortunately, Morgan fell on stage at a concert in Louisville, Kentucky last week. It really wasn't Morgan's fault as it is clear from the video below that the smoke obscured the stage.

Morgan's next concert is on April 27, 2023 at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Bailey Zimmerman, who recently earned two platinum certifications for Fall In Love, and Rock And a Hard Place will be opening the sold out show along with Ernest. This gives Morgan almost a full work week to power back up.
Morgan Wallen is currently number one on Billboard's Hot 100 all genre singles chart. His latest album One Thing At A Time also holds the top spot on Billboard's Hot 200 Album Chart. Additionally, Morgan holds the top chart spots on the following: Artist 100, Hot Country Songs, Top Country Album, Country Streaming Songs, Top Country Digital Sales, and lastly the Hot 100 Recurrents Chart.
He is by far the hottest country music singer right now. We have not seen such a meteoric rise from a country music artist. Positive thoughts, and prayers to Morgan Wallen, and hoping for a great show on the 27th, and beyond, godspeed.
