It Has Not Been A Great Week For Morgan Wallen..
Updated: Apr 25
Morgan's week has gone from bad to worse in just a mere twenty four hours. As we had reported previously, the best selling country singer
so far this year, Morgan Wallen had cancelled a concert at Ole Miss this past Sunday. And of course, the fans were upset. it is not the first time artists have had to cancel a concert on short notice. Regretfully, as is often some unscrupulous people seek to profit from an unfortunate situation.
For about twenty four hours, there was an active class action lawsuit filed.
Brandi Burcham, a resident of Prentis County, Mississippi, on Monday filed a class action lawsuit against Morgan Wallen. In the complaint, the fan alleged to have not received her refund, and that she had incurred expenses that would not be covered by the refund. However, the aforementioned lawsuit was voluntarily dismissed on Tuesday morning April 25th, 2023.
But of course, the law firm that filed the original suit Langston & Lott are scrambling to find another plaintiff to file a new class action lawsuit..
Very interesting indeed as the firm's practice area is personal injury litigation. Suing the top country artist is quite a leap from ambulance chasing.. Ridgeland, Mississippi attorney Benjamin Philley is also seeking to represent outraged fans..
It does not seem like there are any takers on this representation offer by Attorney Philley. The most recent update on this regrettable situation is that Morgan Wallen is on doctor ordered vocal rest. Morgan has cancelled three additional shows to comply with his physician's advice. The country singer will commence the One Night At A Time Tour on May 4th, 2023 in Jacksonville, Fl. Prayers, and well wishes to Morgan, and all.
