#TexasSixPack: March 2023

Hot New Country Songs From Texas Area Artists

Transcript You’re listening to the TexasSixPack!

We feature is 6-7 new releases from Texas area artists that you should be adding to your station, show, playlists, and sharing across social media.

The Texas Six Pack was a feature we created in late 2018 for our Stone Cold Country radio show. Due to the incredible popularity of the segment, we’ve decided to roll it out as a stand alone podcast with new episodes on the 23rd of each month.

We like to lead off with a little news from the longhorn state. Everyone knows the incredible talent the state of Texas produces. Well now we can all take a visual trip on The Texas Music History Trail. It is an interactive map with more than 3 dozen historic music locations like The Buddy Holly Museum, the Texas Country Music Hall Of Fame, and the John Ritter Tribute Showcase.

Zack Clifton won the showcase in 2021. He’s an alumni of our New Traditionalist Podcast series where we highlighted six Traditionalist Country Artists 25 or younger that are keepers of the flame..

We have the fine folks at TheTexas Music History Preservation Alliance to thank for this epic acknowledgement of Texas music.. This was 20 years in the making y’all, and you can check out part of it at www.texasmusichistorytrail.us.
